McAuley won his 13th Northern Ireland cap against San Marino

Ipswich Town captain Gareth McAuley missed Thursday's training after picking up an injury whilst on international duty.

The 28-year-old reported a tight hamstring during Northern Ireland's 4-0 win over San Marino on Wednesday.

Fellow defender Alex Bruce is also back at Portman Road after being away with the Republic of Ireland.

His groin injury will be assessed before Town's medical staff decide when he can return to training.
