Kier Dixon got two of Ipswich's goals against Firebrands

Ipswich's two leading hockey teams both secured their league status for next season with draws on Saturday.

Ipswich Ladies earned a goalless draw at Chelmsford and will continue to play in the EHL Premier Division next season despite going nine games without a win.

Two goals from Kier Dixon and one from Will Hearne gave Ipswich's men a 3-3 draw with Firebrands which keeps them in the National South Division.

Both sides complete their league fixtures with away games this weekend.
