Jo Ellis gave Great Britain a 40th-minute lead |
Two goals in the final six minutes earned Australia their second win over Great Britain's women's hockey team. Australia beat GB 5-0 on Thursday but it looked as if the Hockeyroos were heading for a 1-0 defeat in the second Test of the five-match series.
Bowdon Hightown's Jo Ellis put the tourists in front when she lifted the ball over goalkeeper Toni Cronk in the 40th minute in Perth.
However, two goals from Australia's Hope Munro rescued an unlikely victory.
 | Australia should count themselves lucky to win the game |
"This was a quantum leap from the first Test," said Great Britain head coach Danny Kerry.
"Australia should count themselves lucky to win the game. I am very proud in the difference 48 hours has made to the level of our performance."
Meanwhile, injury has forced Ipswich's Ellis to return home, but no replacement will be made with three Tests to play in Brisbane next week as GB continue their preparations for this summer's Olympics in Beijing.
