Britain's Rebecca Gallantree has fallen at the first hurdle of the women's 3m springboard diving event in Beijing. Leeds-based Gallantree, who will be 24 on Tuesday, failed to progress through her preliminaries, finishing 25th. Her mark of 232.75 points from five dives left her seven places away from qualification, with the top 18 of 30 divers reaching Saturday's semi-finals.
