Rachel Atherton (centre) celebrates with her brothers

A mountain biking family from Shropshire will be hoping to follow up their triple success in the World Cup when they compete in the UK stage.

Rachel Atherton and her brothers Gee and Dan all won their events in the Andorra round last weekend.

It was the first time the family all had success at the same event.

Rachel, who now leads the World Cup rankings, said: "It is incredible, but we're up for doing it again [in the UK stage] in Fort William this weekend."

Her brother Gee added: "We're a close family and each of us spurs the others on."

Rachel is chasing Sabrina Jonnier's crown after beating the current downhill world champion in Andorra by almost 14 seconds.

Gee's victory in the men's downhill put him second in the world rankings while his brother Dan finished on top in the 4-Cross discipline.

The UK stage is the third of seven rounds in the World Cup series.
