Interview: Marathon runner Dan Robinson

Marathon runner Dan Robinson says he does not want to waste the opportunity to compete in his second Olympics.

Since finishing 23rd in Athens four years ago, the Nailsworth-based Robinson, 33, collected a Commonwealth bronze to boost his reputation.

"It's fantastic that I'm running, it's what every athlete wants to do, but I don't want to go there and not run well," Robinson told BBC Points West.

Robinson is Great Britain's only male marathon entry heading to Beijing.
