Cavendish tipped for double gold

Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish has been tipped for double Olympic gold over the next week.

Cavendish has been confirmed as partner to Bradley Wiggins in the madison and double Olympian Marie Noon says he could also do well in the pursuit.

"They are both so fit and on pace at the moment that the idea of Mark in the pursuit against Bradley Wiggins is a very exciting prospect," said Noon.

"They obviously feel like Mark has it in him to do well and push for medals."
