2010 Youth Olympic Games, Singapore Dates: 12-26 August Coverage: Highlights on the BBC Red Button, iPlayer and the BBC Sport website; Watch a round-up of the action on BBC One on Sun 29 Aug at 1130 Youth Olympics medals for GB trio Tennis player Oliver Golding, gymnast Sam Oldham and athlete David Bolarinwa won medals for Britain on day seven of the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. Golding took gold in the boys' tennis doubles after he and Czech partner Jiri Vesely triumphed in straight sets. Oldham made up for his failure in the individual all-around final by taking silver in the men's pommel horse. Bolarinwa, who carried GB's flag at the opening ceremony, settled for bronze in the men's 100m after a poor start. Bolarinwa, who finished in a time of 10.51 seconds, said: "I didn't get a good start and that affected my race, but a medal is a medal so that's good for Team GB. "We came here to learn things and I'm going to train and learn more. For me, this is still a learning curve, I've only been doing this sport for two years." In the women's 100m, GB's Annie Tagoe finished in fourth position in a time of 11.73. She said: "I could've done better but I'm excited to make a final. I'll take the positives out of it. I've loved it here." Golding made up for the disappointment of a quarter-final exit in the singles competition by claiming a convincing 6-3 6-1 win over a Russian pair. "I have lost to that doubles pairing three times before so it was really nice to come away with a win and go home with a gold medal from the Youth Olympic Games - I never expected that," said Golding. Golding gets gold in doubles Oldham made a mistake on his final rotation in Wednesday's horizontal bar competition to cost him a medal, but a score of 13.925 on the pommel horse was enough for a medal on Saturday. The 17-year-old missed out on the gold by just 0.25, but could add to his medal collection on Sunday in the vault and horizontal bar finals. "It could've gone either way, it was so close," he said. "I could've either given that little bit more or little bit less and today it went the other way, hopefully next time it will go my way." Oldham's preparation for the pommel horse was not helped by a fifth-placed finish in the floor event earlier in the day, after he was penalised for stepping out of the competition area during his routine.
