Jones, 17, beat Vietnam's Than Thao Nguyen 9-6 in the 55kg category final by landing a kick to her opponent's head six seconds into the extra period. The Flintshire teenager is now targeting the London Olympics in 2012. "I've had the experience here so I know what it's going to be like. I've just got to keep on winning," she said. "It's amazing, it's an Olympic set-up here so I'm now excited for London 2012," added the teenager, who won three matches to reach the final. "You've always got a little bit of nerves at the back of your head but I was confident. I knew I could win on my day but anything can happen. It's so close, but it's just amazing. "It was so close, anybody could've got that point at the end so I just had to go for it and what happened, happened." Earlier, British number one junior tennis player Oliver Golding reached the last eight of the boys singles. Golding, who is currently the world junior number 30, beat Italy's Alessandro Collela 6-2 6-1 and will now meet Colombia's Juan Sebastian Gomez in the quarter-finals. "That was one of the best matches of my life," said Golding afterwards. "I've definitely got a good chance of winning this. I'm feeling 100%." Golding went an early break down in the first set but then reeled off ten straight games on his way to his straight-sets win.
