Freya Prentice matched team-mate Steven Mason in coming home 10th on her Modern Pentathlon World Cup debut in Mexico. Prentice, 18, was the highest-placed of the four British women who reached the final, with Mhairi Spence 12th, Katy Livingston 13th and Katy Burke 21st. Mason, 17, finished ahead of team-mates Nick Woodbridge and Sam Weale, who were 15th and 22nd respectively. Egypt's Aya Medany won the women's contest, with Poland's Marcin Horbacz taking the honours in the men's event.
