Double Olympic swimming champion Rebecca Adlington believes Southport's Francesca Halsall has the attributes to reach the top of the sport. Halsall, 18, who is viewed as a medal prospect for London 2012, was part of the the team that reached the final of the 4x100m medley relay in Beijing. "Fran has an unbelievable future, she's such a talent," Adlington told BBC Radio Merseyside. "She's a lovely girl aswell so she has a good head on her shoulders." Halsall qualified to compete in the 50m freestyle, 4x200m freestyle relay , 4x100m medley relay , 4x100m freestyle relay , 100m freestyle and 100m butterfly in her debut Olympic games in China. Adlington believes as the City of Liverpool swimmer builds her experience, she could a force to be reckoned with come London 2012. "I fully believe Fran will be there in the future, so you better watch that space for her."
