 Michael McCann impressed for Antrim despite the late miss |
The Saffrons had to settle for a draw in their Allianz NFL Division Four opener after Michael McCann missed a late free to win the game. Antrim were on top in the first half and led 0-8 to 0-3 at the break. But Wicklow hit back early in the second half and goals from Sean Furlong and Dean Odlum put the visitors ahead. The homeside regained the lead but Furlong netted again and Kevin Brady equalised late on before McCann sent his free wide in the dying seconds.
