Raymond Mulgrew sustained a shoulder injury in training |
Tyrone fear their highly-rated young half-forward Raymond Mulgrew could miss Sunday's Championship match against Down because of a shoulder injury. Manager Mickey Harte said the injury, sustained in a training session, had been slow to respond to treatment. Cookstown clubman Mulgrew, an All Star nominee in 2007, is regarded as one of Tyrone's finest emerging players. Tyrone are also awaiting an update on full-forward Tommy McGuigan's recovery from a hamstring problem. Harte said it was "touch and go" if McGuigan would be fit enough to play in Omagh. Forward Owen Mulligan has already been ruled out of starting the match but he could still be on the bench. Harte will name his team on Thursday night.
