Ryan McMenamin was injured while playing for his club side

There was good news for Tyrone manager Mickey Harte on Monday ahead of the Ulster SFC first round clash against Down at Healy Park on 8 June.

Corner back Ryan McMenamin sustained bruised ribs while playing for club side Dromore on Sunday.

However, the injury is not serious and the twice All-Ireland winner is expected to resume training with the Tyrone squad later this week.

Forward Owen Mulligan is a doubt for the Down tie due to a hamstring injury.

Mulligan picked up the injury during the Allianz National League win over Laois on 15 March.
