 Paddy Bradley scored Derry's first goal in Portlaoise |
Derry made it two wins from two in Division One of the National League with a deserved victory in Portlaoise. The sides were level at the break on 1-6 each with All Star forward Paddy Bradley getting Derry's goal.
Billy Sheehan was credited with the Laois goal after referee Pat McEnaney ruled the ball had crossed the line.
In the second half corner-forward Ciaran Mullan landed four points and Banagher clubman Mark Lynch netted a goal for the Oak Leafers.
There were also points for Bradley and Enda Muldoon as Derry retained top spot in the Division.
