Cushendall secured the Ulster hurling title for the eighth time with a comprehensive win over Kevin Lynch's in Sunday's final replay at Casement. The Dungiven outfit, aiming to become the first Derry side to win the provincial championship made a good start and led five points to two.
But the 'Dall took control, and with Emmett McNaughton hitting the net, stormed to a massive 1-14 to 0-6 lead.
That meant Geoffrey McGonigle's late goal for Kevin Lynch's was meaningless.
The encouraging start made by Kevin Lynch's gave no hint of how one-sided the replay would become.
Brothers Liam and Kevin Hinphey landed the first two points and McGonigle added three more to have them five points to two up.
But then Cushendall got level with late replacement McNaughton's goal in the 22nd minute. Keeper James Donaghy got a stick to it but could not complete a save.
Favourites Cushendall started to stack up the points with scores from Declan McKillop (2), Brian Delargy and Aidan Delargy giving them a 1-06 to 0-5 lead at half-time.
Cushendall scored nine more points in the second half through Declan McKillop, Karl McKeegan (3), Paddy McGill (2), Shane McNaughton and Aidan Delargy (2).
Gabriel Loughery's point ended a 20-minute drought for Kevin Lynch's while McGonigle pounced for their late goal.
