County board send letter to Croke
Paddy Bradley
Bradley was the second highest scorer in this year's Championship
The Derry County Board has informed Croke Park of their disappointment at Paddy Bradley's exclusion from the International Rules squad.

The board sent a letter to "reflect the high level of annoyance which Bradley's omission had caused Derry supporters", said press officer Gerry Donnelly.

"We know the letter won't get Paddy picked in the team but we want to make our feelings known formally.

"We want to express our thoughts as a matter of record," added Donnelly.

Bradley has made little attempt to hide his frustration at being left out of Ireland's International Rules squad.

He missed out on an All Star last year and said he felt like "the fall guy".

"It makes you wonder why you play the game. I am totally shocked," Bradley told the Irish Daily Star.

The Glenullin club man scored 24 points in a challenge game last weekend against an Australian U21 selection.

Bradley was the second highest scorer in this year's Football Championship.

"Everybody talking to me told me I had nothing to be worried about.

"I was confident I'd make the cut," he added.
