Donegal have given midfielder Stephen McDermott a vote of confidence for Sunday's Ulster Championship sell-out final against Armagh at Croke Park. McDermott was a first-half substitute in the defeat of All-Ireland champions Tyrone three weeks ago and is the only change from that starting line-up.
Manager Brian McEniff goes into the game full of confidence that his side is better equipped this season.
''We are a better team now,'' he said. ''We are a fitter and stronger side.''
Donegal show four changes from the side that started against Armagh in the All-Ireland semi-final at the same venue last August.
Donegal lost by four points, but McEniff says that Armagh will be facing a different team now.
''We have worked on our fitness and done a lot on our upper body strength.
''We have done that to deal with the intensity of the game nowadays.
''We can put that into use now when we come against the stronger teams.''
''Armagh have kept a low profile and are very focused, and that is the professionalism of them and we have a high regard for them.''
