Fermanagh won a pulsating extra-time All-Ireland qualifier against Meath at Brewster Park on Saturday.

The teams were locked together at the end of normal time before Colm Bradley emerged as the hero.

Despite the dead-eye shooting of Meath's Daithi Regan who scored two goals and six points, Charlie Mulgrew's side took the game into extra time.

It was two points from the brilliant Bradley and another from Darragh McGarth that settled it in the end.

It was a real topsy-turvy game with fortunes swinging one way then the other.

Regan, who had been a constant thorn all day, opened the scoring at the start, but a Mark Little double and another from Stephen Maguire put Fermanagh in control.

The Ernemen led by five points at one stage midway through the half before the Royals charged back through that man Regan.

He scored both goals in the run-up to the break and added three points for good measure as Meath took a 2-06 to 0-10 lead into he second half.

But there was never a point or two in the game through the second period, but it looked all over when Regan fired over his seventh point.

But with the last kick of the game Bradley, playing on his local Enniskillen pitch, floating over the equalising point to take the game into extra-time.

It was Bradley who then took the honours in the nervous countdown of extra-time in hitting two brilliant points as point from Meath's David Crimmins and Trevor Giles were just not enough to rescue the game for the Royals.
