Antrim won the Ulster SHC final replay at Casement Park on Sunday night and enter the All-Ireland quarter-finals for the third consecutive year. Antrim led 2-8 to 0-7 at half-time with Paddy Richmond scoring the goals on 23 and 37 minutes. Down lost Simon Wilson and Stephen Murray through injury.
Brian McFall netted a third goal midway through the second half and Down's Stephen Clarke scored six points.
Down now face Galway in a qualifier tie on Saturday 19 June.
"Down gave us a tough games as we they would," said Richmond.
"I think we showed a good improvement in the replay. The goals really lifted us."
