Brian McFall of Antrim challenges Down's Liam Clarke |
Antrim and Down are to meet in a replay to decide the winners of the Guinness Ulster Hurling Championship. The sides ended Sunday's first meeting at Casement Park locked on 1-15 each and are due to meet again on 13 June at the same Belfast venue.
Antrim led by 1-08 to 1-07 at the break, their goal coming in the 13th minute when Mickey Herron found the net from a Paddy Richmond knock-down.
Martin Coulter Junior scored a penalty for Down on 29 minutes.
Antrim manager Dinny Cahill was not unhappy with the outcome.
"I think a draw was a fair result on the balance of play," said Cahill.
"Down had a great chance near the end when the ball hit a goalpost and came back into play.
"Then we had a point controversially not allowed."
