Derry 0-12 2-7 Tyrone
A amazing goal with the last kick of the game earned Tyrone a dramatic one-point victory over All-Ireland Champions Derry in Wednesday's Ulster Minor Football replay.
Derry seemed to have claimed a place in the semi-final against Cavan on 15 June when they led by two-points with over four minutes of injury-time played.
However, Tyrone then won a 13-metre free which Damian McDermott blasted low to the net full in the knowledge that it was the last kick of the game.
The goal capped an a remarkable individual performance by Errigal Ciaran man McDermott who hit 2-6 of Tyrone's total.
Derry looked the better side for the majority of the contest and will wonder how victory eluded them.
The match had been postponed on Saturday following the tragic death of Patricia Bateson, a sister of Derry player James Bateson.
The Ballinderry player didn't line out in the replay.
With Colin Devlin and Barry McGoldrick both showing accuracy from frees, the Oak Leafers led 0-7 to 1-3 at the interval.
McDermott had scored Tyrone's goal in the 22nd minute but the Red Hand side hit a number of bad wides in the first period.
At one stage in the second half, Derry led by five points and seemed set for a comfortable victory.
However then came Tyrone's amazing late show.
