Omagh Town defender Michael Kelly could be ruled out for the remainder of this season.
Kelly suffered damage to an eye socket during an accidental collision with Coleraine's Michael McHugh in Saturday's league encounter.
After receiving treatment, he played on but a visit to hospital after the game revealed the seriousness of the injury.
Eleven stitches had to be inserted into his cheekbone and he will need further treatment next week because his tear duct has also been damaged.
The centre-back will definitely miss Saturday week's Nationwide Irish Cup semi-final against Coleraine.
Manager Roy McCreadie will include Northern Ireland schoolboy internationals Noel Johnston, Michael Kerr and Richard Clarke for Saturday's home game against Ards.
Meanwhile, Cliftonville striker Conor Downey is set to join Lisburn Distillery.
Downey's contract at Solitude is not being renewed and the striker is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Whites.
