Roy Millar's NI U21 team will play Armenia on Friday |
Northern Ireland Under-21 manager Roy Millar has called up Linfield defender Andrew Hunter for Friday's European Championship game in Armenia.
Hunter has been drafted into the panel because Wolves defender Mark Clyde has been forced to pull out because of a knee injury.
"It was felt that there was no point in Mark travelling to Armenia so we are sending him back to his club for treatment," said Millar.
"I have no worries about Andrew Hunter as he has been with me before".
The Irish go into the 28 March match against Armenia on the back of a victory against Finland last month in a friendly at Glenavon.
Millar's team will then take on Greece at the Oval on Tuesday.
The Northern Ireland youngsters are currently bottom of Group Six with one point from their two games so far.
