Marty Quinn's Coleraine have their sights set on a top three finish |
Institute 0-1 Coleraine
Coleraine consolidated their third place in the Premier Division of the Irish League with a narrow victory away to Institute.
With fourth-placed Linfield winning again, it was important Marty Quinn's men secured victory as well to maintain their momentum.
Third place will secure a spot in next season's Uefa Cup if leaders Glentoran or second-placed Portadown win the Irish Cup.
Coleraine remain eight points ahead of Linfield and have played a game less.
Their winner against Institute was scored by Francis Murphy 10 minutes into the second half.
Defeat in the North-West derby was a blow for Institute who are trying to secure a place in the top six before the split in two weeks' time.
Paul Hegarty's side stay in sixth place but they are now just one point ahead of Lisburn Distillery who drew 1-1 with Cliftonville.
