Queen's have lost their Datapac Sigerson Cup quarter-final to University College Dublin by three points.
The Belfast students, managed by former Down All-Ireland winner James McCartan, were defeated 1-10 to 1-7 in Cork.
Queen's seemed set to claim a comeback win when, helped by a Kevin McGourty goal, they hit 1-3 without replay in the third quarter to tie the match at 1-5 apiece.
However, late points by Dublin stars Alan Brogan and Darren Magee plus a John Hanley score settled the match in UCD's favour.
The only Ulster side left in the competition are UUJ, coached by former Derry forward Damian Barton.
They shaded a tense quarter-final against St Mary's, the Jordanstown outfit winning 2-11 to 1-13 after extra-time.
Sligo beaten
Martin O'Rourke's injury-time goal was the crucial score in UUJ's victory.
Tyrone forward Mark Harte hit a remarkable 1-10 for St Mary's but still ended up on the losing side.
His Errigal Ciaran clubmate Enda McGinley scored 1-1 for UUJ while Michael Walsh top-scored with six points. Jordanstown now play UCD in the semi-finals on Friday (1500 GMT).
Maynooth dumped out holders Sligo from the competition by claiming a 0-13 to 1-9 extra-time win.
Donegal youngster Christy Toye missed a late chance for Sligo which would have brought the match to a penalty shoot-out.
Maynooth will meet NUI Galway in Friday's second semi-final after the Connacht side defeated UCC 3-8 to 1-10 in Thursday's remaining last eight clash.
