Enda McNulty is ready to return to the Armagh line-up |
Steven McDonnell, Enda McNulty and Andrew McCann are expected to return to Armagh's team for the Allianz National League game against Roscommon on Sunday.
All were absent when the Orchard County beat Donegal on 16 February to make it three NFL wins out of three.
Corner-forward McDonnell was rested for that game while his fellow All Star, corner-back McNulty, was not risked because of a knee problem.
Half-back Andrew McCann is available again after recovering from a calf injury.
Midfielder John Toal has resumed full training after a back injury which had kept him out of the league campaign.
Hip problem
Meanwhile, forward Ronan Clarke was due to see a specialist in Dublin on Tuesday.
The 2002 young footballer of the year may need surgery to cure a hip problem.
Armagh boss Joe Kernan knows he will not have Clarke available for a couple of months and there is also a worry over Kieran McGeeney.
The Armagh skipper could be sidelined until April because of his hamstring injury.
It was initially felt McGeeney would be out for a month after picking up the injury in the league fixture against Cork on 9 February.
John Gildea: May quit Donegal scene |
However, McGeeney will need more rest and has now set his sights on the final Division 1A game against Kerry on 6 April for his comeback.
Meanwhile, injury-plagued Donegal midfielder John Gildea will make a decision on his intercounty future this week.
Gildea was recently advised by an orthopaedic surgeon in Donegal to quit the game because of a knee injury.
He then had a further MRI scan with another surgeon in Dublin and will hold consultations with top sports injuries expert, former Dublin boss Pat O'Neill later this week.
Gildea played for his club Glenties against St Eunan's in last weekend's Donegal County Football quarter-final but admitted that the injury was very sore after the match.
