Errigal's Peter Canavan ended on the losing side at Portlaoise |
Errigal Ciaran 0-11 Nemo Rangers 1-12
Errigal Ciaran's dream of reaching the All-Ireland club final ended in disappointment at Portlaoise.
Despite finishing strongly, the Tyrone and Ulster champions fell to Nemo Rangers in Sunday's semi-final.
The Cork kingpins had four points to spare over Mickey Harte's men.
Nemo's opponents at Croke Park on St Patrick's Day will be Mayo club Crossmolina who beat Dunshaughlin 3-10 to 1-12 at Hyde Park.
Alan Cronin got Nemo's goal in the first half, firing past John Devine after taking a pass from Stephen O'Brien.
Mark Harte landed first half frees for Errigal but was outscored by Nemo's free-taker Colin Corkery.
Darragh Tierney had a chance to score a goal for Errigal in the second half but he could not find the net.
Errigal had the arrears down to three points going into injury-time but Nemo scored the final point of the game and deservedly went through to the 17 March decider.
