Antrim ring the changes
New Antrim manager P J O'Hare is keen to give young players a taste of senior football
Manager P J O'Hare has named a new-look Antrim line-up

New manager P J O'Hare has made sweeping changes to the Antrim team for this Sunday's McKenna Cup game against Tyrone.

O'Hare fulfilled his promise to introduce a string of young players in an attempt to bring some better results to the success-starved Saffrons.

Under-21 player Colm Brady, from O'Hare's club St Gall's, is one of the young players drafted in.

He plays at left corner-back alongside new team captain Anto Finnegan at full-back.

Right-back Ciaran Anderson of St John's returns to the squad after a two-year absence.

Portglenone's Martin McKay comes into the midfield as former Joe Quinn is recovering from an operation.

Paidi O Se's recent criticism of Kerry fans caused a major row
Paidi O Se won't quit

McKay's midfield partner is Mark McCrory of St Gall's.

Manager O'Hare's son Darren gets one of the places in attack.

Monaghan's team for the re-arranged McKenna Cup game against Derry is the same as was selected for last Sunday's scheduled clash.

Meanwhile, Paidi O Se has insisted that he will remain on Kerry football boss despite his recent controversial comments about the county's supporters.

In a recent newspaper interview, O Se described Kerry fans as "animals" and used an expletive to embellish his comments.

He also hinted would take control of the physical training this year, a position currently held by John O'Keefe.

However, O Se insisted his comments were "misinterpreted" and pointed out that O'Keeffe would be training the team this weekend.

Antrim: S McGreevy, C Anderson, A Finnegan, C Brady, S Kelly, P McCann, S P O'Hagan, M McKay, M McCrory, K McGourty, E McCann, C Kelly, K Madden, D O'Hare, K Brady.

Monaghan (v Derry): G Murphy, C Flanagan, D McKenna, G Corrigan, D McArdle, D Duffy, JP Mone, A Rooney, J Hughes, N Corrigan, G Meehan, T Freeman, K Tavey, R Ronaghan, D Freeman.
