Corrigan keeps his promise
Dominic Corrigan indicated that there could be major changes to the Fermanagh panel
Dominic Corrigan is giving youth a fling against Tyrone
Fermanagh football boss Dominic Corrigan has included a raft of youngsters for opening McKenna Cup game against Tyrone on Sunday.

Corrigan kept his word by ditching some of the more epxerienced players after last season's disappointment.

Fermanagh were hammered by Kerry in the All-Ireland qualifiers after being well-beaten by Armagh in this year's Ulster Championship.

Established players like Tom and Paul Brewster, Martin McGrath and Michael Lilly have not been included.

New faces

Paddy McGuinness has not been tempted out of retirement - yet, and top marksman Rory Gallagher is also absent.

Corrigan's youth policy sees Ryan Keenan, Shaun Doherty and the O'Reilly brothers Ciaran and Declan making their debuts.

New faces also include goalkeeper Dermot Feeley, Declan Campbell, Sean Leonard, Shane Goan and Gary Maguire.

Tyrone, meanwhile, will not be naming their side for the Brewster Park opener until the day of the game.

New boss Mickey Harte has already drawn up a 30-man panel, but players will not be told until Saturday when they return from the Festive break.

Fermanagh: D Feeley; D O'Reilly, B Owens, S Goan; G Maguire, J Gilheaney, D Campbell; S Doherty, S McDermott; S Leonard, R Johnston, C O'Reilly; R Gallagher, capt, S Maguire, R Keenan.
