Clontibret win Monaghan replay
Enda Muldoon helped Ballinderry claim the All-Ireland Club title last March

Magheracloone's hopes of winning their first ever ACC Bank Monaghan Senior Football title were dashed by Clontibret on Saturday evening.

Clontibret won the final replay at Clones by a point - 0-16 to 2-9.

The Derry and Tyrone county football finals will dominate a busy Sunday of club action in Ulster.

All-Ireland Club Champions Ballinderry take on neighbours Loup in the Derry decider (1530 BST) at Celtic Park while Errigal Ciaran tackle Killyclogher in the Tyrone final (1600).

Loup will need big performances from county stars Paul McFlynn, Johnny McBride and Ronan Rocks to have a chance of upsetting Ballinderry.

Rocks is a particularly important player for Loup and the Derry forward is certain to be tightly marked by the Ballinderry defence.

As ever, the midfield battle will have a major bearing on the outcome with Loup's Johnny McBride and Ballinderry's Sean Donnelly probably the key centrefield characters.

Conleth Gilligan is likely to be shackled by another Derry county player Paul McFlynn
Conleth Gilligan: Ballinderry's playmaker

Another important battle will be the duel between Loup's Fermanagh defender Paddy McGuinness and Enda Muldoon.

Equally interesting will be to see whether Paul McFlynn can subdue Ballinderry's attacking playmaker Conleth Gilligan.

If Gilligan is in good form that could curtail McFlynn's desire to help out his own attack.

Loup will also surely be mindful that fouls near their goals will almost certainly be punished by the boot of Gerard Cassidy.

In the Coca Cola Tyrone decider at Omagh, Errigal Ciaran will be favourites to defeat Killyclogher although Peter Canavan and company are unlikely to underestimate the side managed by Peter McGinnity.

Killyclogher will be aiming for their first ever Tyrone senior title.

In contrast, Errigal Ciaran have been the major force in Tyrone football over the past 15 years with Peter Canavan having already picked up seven county senior medals.

Canavan has been in tremendous form this season but he has been ably assisted by Mark Harte - son of the manager Mickey Harte.

The former Allstar will probably be marked by Killyclogher's talented young defender Dermot Carlin who produced a tremendous display in the semi-final win over Carrickmore.

Killyclogher can be expected to give a good account of themselves but Errigal Ciaran should claim another title.

In the Cavan Crystal Cavan County Football Final, holders Cavan Gaels take on Gowna at Breffni Park on Sunday.

Sunday also sees county hurling championship action in Antrim and Down.

Holders Dunloy take on Ballycastle in the Antrim semi-final at Loughgiel (1630) while Ballygalget face Portaferry in the Down decider at Downpatrick (1530).

Dunloy have injury concerns over Gary O'Kane but his nephew Gregory O'Kane, Alistair Elliott, Paddy Richmond, Martin Curry and several other county players will line out for the Cuchulainns.

Ballycastle will include Kieran Kelly, Eoin Colgan, Paul McKillen, Ronan Donnelly and Paul Jennings - all of whom have intercounty experience.

Portaferry are aiming to win their third successive Down hurling title in their decider against Ballygalget.

In ladies football, Monaghan take on Mayo in the senior final at Croke Park on Sunday while earlier in the afternoon, Donegal face Galway in the junior decider.
