 Subaru driver Solberg has taken an early lead |
Subaru's Petter Solberg seized the early initiative in the Rally of Argentina, leading after two gravel stages at the Pro-Racing complex. He has a 1.2 second advantage over Marcus Gronholm, with Harri Rovanpera in third place and defending race champion Sebastien Loeb in fourth.
A capacity crowd of 40,000 watched drivers go head-to-head around two identical 3.02km gravel circuits.
The event resumes on Friday morning local time, in the Punilla Valley.
