Emil Sayfutdinov has only featured twice for the Bees

Coventry Bees have been dealt a new injury blow with number one Emil Sayfutdinov ruled out of Monday's home clash with Eastbourne.

The Russian rider suffered concussion following a crash riding for Polish outfit Bydgoszcz at Lodz on Sunday.

Sayfutdinov is yet to feature for Bees at Brandon and will be replaced by former Coventry rider Rory Schlein.

Bees have only been able to get their first-choice team onto the track once this year, against Brummies in April.
