Swindon rider Thomas H. Jonasson will miss the rest of the Elite League season after being banned for 28 days. The British Speedway Promoters Association issued the suspension after he failed to show up for the Robins' defeat at Ipswich on Monday. The 21-year-old Swede had missed his flight from Poland to the UK. Swindon team boss Ronnie Russell told the Robin's website: "By his own admission, Thomas needs to become a more organised rider." Jonasson currently divides his time between leagues in Sweden, Poland and the UK. Russell added: "He admits that riding in three leagues really is too much and the organisational side of his racing must improve dramatically. "Thomas remains an integral part of Swindon Speedway's future and I fully expect him to feature heavily in our 2011 team building plans." Swindon will try to find a replacement for Jonasson this week.
