Freddie Lindgren holds nerve in Wolverhampton victory
Lindgren's win in heat 13 set up Wolves' success at Ipswich
Swedish star Freddie Lindgren saw Wolves through to a priceless away win at Ipswich with a stunning ride in the final heat at Foxhall Stadium.
Lindgren squeezed his way between Robert Miskowiak and Scott Nicholls to secure a 46-44 Elite League victory.
"It was close all the way - we were a few points down to start with but we came back," the Grand Prix star, 24, told BBC WM.
Lindgren's 13 points were backed up by 11 from Dane Nicolai Klindt.
But he claims his final heat heroics were given a leg-up by a mechanical problem for the Witches' heat leader Nicholls.
I didn't quite know where to go, but managed to get past him

"They came out first, then Scottie's bike, something happened with it. It started to misfire a bit which messed me up," he added.
"I didn't quite know where to go, but managed to get past him."
Lindgren now heads to Cardiff for the British Grand Prix at the Millennium Stadium where he will be joined by his out-of-sorts club colleague Tai Woffinden.
"I think Tai's going to come good soon - he's got a lot of expectation this year and has to deal with it in his own way. We're all behind him," said the eight-year veteran from Orebro.
Given their untouchable home form, Wolves' victory at Foxhall Stadium virtually guarantees them a place in the end of season play-offs.
