Coventry Bees go into the new Elite League season without a pre-season victory after losing in Scotland in another challenge fixture on Sunday. After losing 47-43 at neighbours Wolverhampton last Monday night, the Bees this time lost 48-45 at Glasgow. Captain Chris Harris was absent, but Edward Kennett top scored for the under-strength Coventry with 11 points. The Bees start the new league season with an away fixture at Belle Vue next Monday night (29 March).
