Clews has Elite League experience with home club Coventry

Berwick Bandits have re-signed captain Paul Clews to their roster for the 2010 Premier League season.

Clews, who is based in Warwickshire, is believed to have received a number of offers but opted to re-join after two seasons at Shielfield Park.

"He's a wonderful club captain, he admitted he loved our circuit and he told me he appreciated the Berwick fans," said co-boss John Anderson.

"We're delighted to welcome him back on board for next season."
