Madsen has averaged just under five points for Stoke this season

Stoke Potters rider Tom P Madsen is doubtful for the meeting with Somerset Rebels at Loomer Road on Saturday.

The Danish rider dislocated his shoulder in the first heat of the home victory over Newcastle on 23 May.

Potters manager John Woolridge told BBC Radio Stoke: "He was leading his race, he spun and had a big collision.

"Tom is really injured - his chest, his ribs and his shoulder, and it's unfortunate because he's starting to go around Loomer Road really well now."

Madsen joined the Potters at the start of the 2009 season and is one of three Danish riders currently at the club.
