Plymouth lost in the semi finals of the Conference League play-offs

Plymouth Devils promoter Mike Bowden is hoping his side will be able to compete in the Premier League next season.

The club won the Conference League Cup on Friday after beating Boston over two legs, to add to the League trophy they won earlier in the year.

But the side missed out on the League play-offs after losing to Weymouth.

"That's the only way to go. We've got fantastic support here and we want to see all the big teams in the country down here," he told BBC Radio Devon.

"I want to see the likes of Rye House, Sheffield, King's Lynn, all the top teams in the country to give the Plymouth fans a great treat every week," he added.
