King's Lynn have had a trophy-less season for the first time since 2004 |
King's Lynn Stars will be back in the Premier League next season after losing their play-off with Edinburgh. Lynn were 17 points down from the first leg of the Premier League final and could only manage a 52-38 success in the return. It means the Stars have failed to win a trophy for the first time since 2004. They ended their campaign with a 47-43 Premier Trophy win at Birmingham just 24 hours after going down to the defeat against Edinburgh. Since 2005 King's Lynn have won the Premier League once, the Knockout Cup and Premier Trophy twice each and the Jack Young Shield once.
