Vissing claimed two points for Peterborough in the first leg |
Peterborough Panthers rider Claus Vissing has warned his team-mates to be careful in Thursday's relegation play-off second leg against Wolverhampton. The first leg ended 48-47 in Wolves' favour, but Panthers hold the home advantage at the Showground. Vissing said: "They still have some good riders who can ride Peterborough quite well. "They're going to do everything to beat us, but if we just have to relax and race our best I think we'll beat them." The loser over the two ties will face the winner of the Premier League in a play-off to decide who will start in the Elite League next season. With just a one-point deficit for Panthers to overcome on Thursday, Vissing said: "We have to be strong in the first five heats and then we have to be ready for them settling down on the track. "By then we should be in front and able to take it to the end."
