Jason Bunyan top-scored with 16 points in Tuesday's win over Berwick

Isle of Wight co-promoter Dave Pavitt is convinced that his riders have the talent to win the Premier League Cup.

The Islanders take an 11-point advantage to Berwick after the first leg of their semi-final tie in Ryde.

Pavitt told BBC Radio Solent: "When we went there in the league we only lost by two points so we stand a very fair chance of taking the title.

"They have Jason Doyle as a guest but I'm mildly confident we can nick it like we did at Sheffield."

Isle of Wight won Tuesday's first leg 53-42 at home, and face the trip to the Borders on Saturday.
