Jason Bunyan skippered Islanders to victory over Sheffield

Isle Of Wight Islanders will meet Berwick Bandits in the semi-finals of the Premier League Cup after defeating Sheffield Tigers.

Despite losing their second leg tie in Yorkshire 52-41, the Islanders lead from the first home leg to win 97-83 overall on aggregate.

Promoter Dave Pavitt told BBC Radio Solent: "We needed that lead because Sheffield are strong at home."

The first leg of the semi-final is in Ryde on Tuesday evening.
