Witches target third-place finish

Rider-manager Chris Louis believes his Ipswich Witches team can still finish as high as third in the Elite League.

The Witches host Coventry at Foxhall on Thursday in another crucial test of their play-off place credentials.

Louis said: "Mathematically it's possible and the lads have said that's what they want to go and do."

Ipswich should be at full strength for the Bees' visit, while Coventry will be in the middle of three meetings in consecutive days.

A one-minute silence will be observed before the start of the meeting as a mark of respect to Keith Martin who died this week after a long illness.

The Sudbury-based businessman had supported the club for a number of years and was also well known as the former manager of AFC Sudbury.
