Bridger has had a troubled season on and off the track

Eastbourne have decided to keep faith with teenager Lewis Bridger despite ordering him out of the pits in the defeat by Ipswich on Saturday.

The club were unhappy with the controversial 18-year-old's performance and his gesturing at fans.

Eagles co-promoter Martin Hagon told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "We've been hard. It is a last chance.

"He's got a lot of ability and fantastic opportunities in speedway. We want to see him pursue those."
