Danish rider Hans Andersen won three races on his Coventry Bees debut against Poole in the semi-final first leg of the knockout cup.

The Bees came back from behind to tie the meeting 45-45, Andersen top scoring with 12 points.

He told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "Unfortunately we did not win, we managed to come back and to get a draw and that isn't too bad".

The Bees travel to Poole for the second leg on Wednesday.
