Durham and Notts suffered frustration for the second day running as bad weather prevented a start to their Championship game at the Riverside.

The first two days of the top-of-the-table Division One clash have now been washed out without a ball being bowled.

Somerset were unable to add to their overnight 110-0 versus Surrey as rain meant no play was possible on day two.

In Division Two, Glamorgan-Gloucs and Warwickshire-Essex were both abandoned for the second consecutive day.
