Wolverhampton promoter Chris van Straaten is considering signing Lukas Dryml for the rest of the season.

The Czech rider could join his older brother Ales at the Monmore club as they try to avoid a bottom two finish in the Elite League.

"It's been difficult to change things round, but the results are depressing," van Straaten said.

"In the case of Lukas, his knee injury ended our earlier talks but we will talk again and see where we're at."

Monday's home defeat against Eastbourne seems to have been the final straw for a club that has under-achieved badly in the Elite League this season.

It appears almost certain that Wolves will end up in the inaugural relegation play-offs.
