Simon Lambert has been called up to the Young Lions for the first time

Lincolnshire's Simon Lambert will ride for Great Britain in Sunday's world under-21 speedway championships at Paradubice in the Czech Rebublic.

Lambert, 19, from Boston, rides for Kings Lynn in the Premier League and for Boston in the Conference League.

He said: "It's a dream come true and something I have been working and aiming for. I didn't expect it to come so early in my career.

"To be in a world championship event is absolutely amazing."
