Peterborough Panthers rider Kenneth Bjerre has broken his leg after a crash in Denmark and looks set to miss the remainder of the 2008 season. Bjerre, 23, was riding for his Danish club Esbjerg when he injured the same leg he broke in 2005. Panthers owner Colin Horton told the club's website: "Clearly this is a blow just when we didn't need it, but my first concern is for Kenneth." Elsewhere, Henrik Moller injured his hand while fitting a window in Denmark. Peterborough welcome Wolverhampton to the Showground on Thursday evening as they look to climb from bottom-place in the Elite League. They will use rider replacement for Bjerre but Carl Wilkinson is set to guest for Moller. The injuries to Bjerre and Moller mean the Panthers have lost three riders in the last two weeks. Sam Simota broke his neck while racing in the Czech Republic and has been replaced in the Peterborough line-up by Henning Bager.
